One of the best with hidden entrance, dimmed lights and rules of entry. Live music on most nights after 9pm, but during earlier hours you’ll have a more intimate experience.

Spill and Still | Menteng
Narrow speakeasy hidden above a restaurant. Founder and mixologist Kenny got the unpretentious style right, and crafts bespoke cocktails based on your personal taste.

Barchipelago | Kemang
Tiny laid-back bar with Indonesian inspired cocktails. Not sworn by expats and local feel. Signature cocktails are fruity. The room can get smokey, and in the late hours it has a party vibe, but still a local gem.

Elemental Bar | Kemang
For the experimental! You’ll get a series of paired cocktails with canapés, and a story behind each serving. Only available in select weekends by RSVP. Limited seating (12pax). Recommended for a private group event!

Koda | Pusat
Hidden in officer tower behind an emergency exit. Ginza-style bar run by Japanese bartender. Share your bespoke preferences and let the mixologist work magic. As non-smoker this place can get very smokey, but if you don’t mind the clouds it’s a must visit. Also great: no loud music. A rare find.
